My son attended UT's camp while in high school. It had a huge number of attendees and, as I recall, there were roughly a dozen players in each instructional group. A lot of emphasis was placed on hitting. While well-run, it is quite expensive (over $500) and unless you're a legitimate UT prospect, your money most likely could be better spent on private instruction.

I attended a Longhorn baseball camp heading into my senior year of high school, and I enjoyed it very much. The chance to get intstruction from UT coaches as well as coaches from surrounding colleges was great. Good organization and instruction, although after 4 days it seemed a little bit repetitive. However, it was here that I first got noticed by college coaches and it helped me to get recruited by a few colleges. I eventually signed with a program that first saw me from the camp so I can say this camp got me where I am now.
