I attended the DogerTown Camp/Showcase Event in Florida.
Pros: Alot of baseball, we played and practiced a week non stop early morning until late at night. I was exhausted after the week. We got to stay in the dogertown hotel rooms and eat meals there. That was great. Instruction was great, there were some really good instructors that taught and taught and taught. We also played a bunch of games and the coacehs watched us and evaluated us. The best part of this camp was that the second night Rick Sofield, a major league instructor, gave a speech about dedication and hard work in the banquet room for everyone. I will never forget that after he gave that speech at like 10pm all of the kids left and headed straight to the batting cages to keep working and practicing!
Cons: Price was an issue. It was worth the price, but I was lucky I was able to afford it as it was very expensive. The food could hvae been better but we got to eat where all the old dodger greats would eat so it was ok. As much as I love baseball the heat played a toll on us because we were out there so long everyday. Really not a lot of cons or any that aren’t a big deal. I enjoyed it and if i could afford it I would go every single time.
